Tips
& Trix
- Don't
make your drawings too small. Let them fill the page!
- Relax
your hand. Don't be shy with your pencil, but don't press down too hard
either.
- Try
to use long, bold lines instead of short, choppy ones.
- Always
start by sketching loosely. Once you have the basic pose drawn, go back
over the lines you want to keep and erase the ones you don't. Or you
can trace a neater copy onto another piece of paper.
- When
choosing a pose for your character, try to exaggerate it. If your character
is sitting, show him really sprawling out like a couch potato. If he's
pointing at something, make him really lean in the direction he's pointing.
